歌詞の意味
「Empowerment」を四度繰り返し、wake-up callで相手を起こすところから始まります。しかし力を得る方法は、他人に認めてもらうことではありません。文句を言うだけの相手には努力も涙も見せず、弱さを隠し通せるならそれも強さだと言い切る。傷つかないという宣言の裏に、隠して守ってきたものがあることも読み取れます。「Crown the inner fire」は、外から授けられる冠ではなく、自分の内側にある火へ価値を与える言葉です。
「本物はモノ言わない」と言う一方で、「演じ続ける美学」や「この嘘だけが美しい」という逆説が続きます。ここでの演技は単なる虚勢として退けられていません。嘘ばかりの世界で自分の姿を選び、貫くことが、他人の決めた「本当らしさ」に従わない態度になります。「Who I am／欺いて」という隣り合う言葉も、正体を一つの説明へ固定させないまま、自分の火を燃やし続ける緊張を残します。
