楽曲解説
ばらばらだったものが bonfire へ集まる一方、liars も群がり、体内では black Mononoke が呼吸しています。「高潔な陰謀」には加わらず、音も影もなく咲くものを灯火が照らします。上下が揺らぐ世界で祭壇へ頭を下げる場面は、何を信じ、何に従うのかが定まらない状態を作っています。
語り手は pointless fight to death を拒み、倒すべき enemy は相手ではなく自分だと言います。それでも minions を喰らい sea of blood を染め、愛とヘイトと恐れの奴隷になる言葉が続くため、自己との対決も穏やかなものではありません。その中で繰り返す願いは、夢と沈黙を切り分け、自分を相手の心へ結び、眠りの奥で freeze してほしいというものです。
後半では、相手の絵を安っぽいと退け、飛び込めるほど信用していないと明言します。百獣の王を起こさず平和に眠らせてほしい一方、自分は相手が読む本にはもう住んでいないが、死んだわけでもないと言います。頭の中の phantom は捕まえられません。関係を断つのではなく、望むだけ眠りを続けられる距離で心につないでほしいという、拒絶と依存が同時に残されています。
