歌詞の意味
自分を「404」と名乗り、新しい時代の内側に入り込む「glitch」になる。ここでの反抗は、外から世界に抗議するというより、世界を動かす仕組みそのものに潜り込んで書き換える行為として語られる。「Protocol」が立ちはだかる一方、話し手は排除できない「Bug」を名乗る。通常なら欠陥や異常として扱われるものを自分の強さに変え、常識の側が決めた正しさに従わないという姿勢が、コンピューターの語彙を通して具体化している。冒頭の無秩序を求める言葉も、この自己紹介へつながっていく。
その侵入のイメージは、途中から食卓と空腹の場面に重なる。世界を飲み込んで生まれた存在が、今度は極上の一品を前に「Bite」と迫る。食べることは単なる満足ではなく、相手を自分の領域へ取り込む動作になる。「群れをはぐれたSheep」に道案内を申し出ながら、行き先は誰も歩こうとしない場所だ。導く言葉には親しさと危険が同居しており、食べる、逃げる、堕ちる、笑うという選択肢を並べても、自由に結末を選べるようには見えない。問いかけが増えるほど、相手を追い込む構図がはっきりする。
ただし、最後まで一方的な支配者でいられるわけではない。「この身体」が足りない欲望に支配されるという一節で、喰らう側自身も欲望から逃れられないことが示される。世界を再起動させる誇りと、さらに欲しがってしまう飢えは、同じ人物の中にある。目を閉じるように促す「Black out」も、相手の抵抗を奪う言葉であると同時に、理性的な判断が消えていく状態として読める。繰り返される食事の誘いは、反抗を勝利で終わらせず、どこまでも拡大する欲望の循環へ戻している。
