歌詞の意味
現実と仮想の境界はどこにあるのか。絶世スターゲイトは、想像も脳の電気信号だという考えを挟み、どちら側にいても本気で感じることへ話を進める。ここでは、仮想だから心が動く価値は低い、と決めつける見方が退けられている。新しい世界への扉は、別の場所へ移るための入口であると同時に、自分が何を本物と認めるかを変える入口でもある。先入観だけで生きる退屈さへの宣戦布告は、その問いを日常の態度にまで広げている。
電気信号、同期、DNAの共振といった語彙が、絆やときめき、夢と並ぶ点も特徴的だ。人と人の気持ちがつながることを、技術や身体の働きを連想させる言葉で表している。胸にある絆を同期させるという組み合わせは、離れた個人が同じ方向へ動く様子として読める。さらに、三つの数字を数えて飛び込む合図が繰り返され、問い続ける段階から、実際に境界を越える段階への切り替えを作る。ただし、扉の先で何を見つけ、何に涙を流すかはまだ分からない。未知の世界を選ぶことは、喜びだけが保証された場所を選ぶこととは違うのだ。
最初の一人称による決意は、君と僕の未来へ、そして一緒に歩き、扉を開こうという呼びかけへ広がっていく。相手に後からついて来るよう命じるのではなく、入口から共に進もうとしているため、冒険の価値は発見したものだけでなく、その経験を分け合う関係にもある。後半で手の先に答えがあると言うときも、説明を聞くだけでは分からないことを、自分たちで触れて確かめようとする姿勢が見える。太陽より輝くと表現されるのが、世界そのものではなく僕らの物語であることにも意味がある。まだ誰も決めていない未来は、二人がどう関わり、何を感じるかによって物語になる。夜明けを待ち受ける結びは、現実か仮想かという分類より、その先で生きる経験を選び取ろうとする決意につながっている。
