歌詞の意味
冒頭では Reality が引き裂かれ、世界の果てにいても相手の指先へ届かない。互いを汚し、理解し合ったはずなのに距離が残るという順序が、この歌の切実さをつくっている。問題は単純に真実を知らないことだけではない。幻か真かを取引にかけ、失われた History を天秤に載せる言葉からは、何かを選ぶたびに別のものを失ってきた感覚が読み取れる。罪まで救い出したいと願うのも、都合の悪い過去を消して先へ進むことへの抵抗なのだろう。
「キミ」の手を取る行為は繰り返されるが、その先は一定しない。前半では夢と現実の境で Deepfake を解き明かそうとし、後半では一緒に飛び降りながら「解かないで」と言う。同じ言葉をめぐって態度が揺れるのは、虚構を暴けば関係まで壊れるかもしれないという恐れにも見える。鏡の中で不気味に笑う存在や、造られた False World は、誰を信じるべきかという問いを外の景色だけでなく自分自身にも向ける。だからこそ、過去と未来をまた天秤にかけても、簡単な正解にはたどり着かない。
神頼みの日々からの Escape と、絶望の日常からの Escape は似ていて少し違う。最初は救いを他人任せにする生き方を抜け出したい気持ち、次は息苦しい現実そのものを越えたい気持ちとして響く。泡のように消える魔法も奇跡も捨てたあと、眠れない闇の中で掴むのは自分の手で動かせるトリガーだ。運命を美しいものへ導いてほしいという願いは残るが、そのための行動だけはもう誰かに預けていない。
