楽曲解説
桜色の帰り道を並んで歩きながら、語り手は少し背伸びをし、変わらない距離を縮めようとします。しかし気持ちは言葉にならず、手がほどける時にも「またね」しか選べません。春の吹雪や風に舞う花びらは、二人で過ごした時間が美しいまま流れ去る様子と重なります。ふわりと消えるものに対して、「忘れない」という言葉だけが繰り返し残ります。
これから描く未来地図には、もう相手がいないかもしれません。それでも空や花びらの色、春の匂いは写真のように記憶を色付け、次の時間まで持ち越されます。最後に選ぶ言葉が「さよなら」ではなく「ありがとう」なのは、別れを否定するためではなく、伝えられなかった思いも含めて、出会えた日々を肯定するためです。「last note」は途切れた告白ではなく、感謝として結び直された最後の一音になっています。
