歌詞の意味
深まる沈黙と息をのむ一瞬から始まるため、「Who is she？」という問いは単なる紹介ではなく、何が起こるか分からない場面で生まれる声に聞こえる。灰の中に花が咲き、壊れたところからもう一度花が開く。炎はただ華やかさを表すだけではなく、何かが燃え尽きた後にも姿を変えて立ち上がれることを示している。「熱くも冷たくもなれる」と並べることで、見ている人が一つの印象で彼女を決めつけられないことも分かる。生まれながらの「X」という名乗りは、その答えをあえて未定にしておく言葉だ。
