歌詞の意味
日照りの畦道で立葵が揺れ、野風の緑の光、軒先を染める深い夏空、びいどろの泡が静けさの中へ消えていきます。追っても届かない逃げ水と、鳴き続けるひぐらしが、目の前にありながら取り戻せない時間を形にしています。
風鈴、陽炎、時雨花火の先で振り返ると、相手はもう行方知れずです。黄昏の迎え火には帰らない人が示され、提灯と呼び声の間を迷い蛍が漂います。かつて笑い合った畦へ分け入ることは、自分まで失われるほど深く記憶へ戻ることです。最後には花火の代わりに「きみを探し」と置かれ、同じ夏景色が喪失した一人を探す場所へ変わります。
