歌詞の意味
何気なく入ったカフェでパスタを頼み、窓に映る大きな青空を眺めながらフォークを口へ運ぶ。その、ごく普通の動作の途中で記憶が込み上げます。最初に浮かぶ「あの日」や笑顔と涙は、すでに触れられなくなった相手との時間です。初めて出逢った日が亡き愛犬の誕生日だったという偶然まで、残された人生の中で相手がどれほど大切になったかを示す印として残っています。
相手が好きだったヒップホップやR&Bを聴けば、今も隣にいるように感じられる。しかし、もう一緒に旅する願いが叶わず、触れることもできない現実は明言されます。そのうえで、体のある自分はここから音楽を届け、魂になった相手にはそこで聴いて踊っていてほしいと呼びかける。「まだ続くよ、まだ続けよう」という反復は、死を忘れる言葉ではなく、笑顔も涙も愛として抱えた関係を、音楽の中でこれからも続ける意志です。
