歌詞の意味
探しても見つからないものを、まず持っているふりで埋めようとする。しかし誰にも気づかれず、語り手は号砲を待たずに走り出す。この出発には、目的がはっきりした人の余裕より、立ち止まっていられない焦りがある。何を求めているのかに名前は与えられないまま、それだけは血の中にあると繰り返される。外から獲得したい何かと、自分から取り除けない何かが重なり、探す行為が自分自身を確かめる行為へ近づいていく。
血管を流れるものに対して、もう流せる血は残っていないという言葉が置かれる。使い果たした感覚があっても、内側の動きは止まらない。その矛盾のただ中で、必要なものは今日ここにあると言い切るため、この肯定は満ち足りた暮らしの報告とは少し違う。地面にあるのが音の染みだけだという奇妙な像も、手で拾える成果を示さない。形として残らなくても確かに起きたこと、消えかけても自分の中に残る感覚を、今ここにあるものとして認めようとしているように読める。音という語を、特定の演奏や音楽活動だけに限定する必要はない。
後半では、不公平さや迫る闇も消されない。闇は自分にぴったりの敵であり、鍵のない錠でもある。敵を倒す手順や錠を開ける答えが示されないまま、やり直す時間もないと語られる。それでも諦められない理由は、最後に自分へ向けた問いに集まる。千回でも信じられるかと確かめてから、探していたものはこれだと言い聞かせる流れには、確信に届こうとする迷いが残る。末尾の「ここ」の反復は、遠くの完成形を待つより、この不公平で不確かな現在を引き受けるための言葉になっている。
