歌詞の意味
何度も目を覚ますのに、空虚な日々は終わらない。冒頭の目覚めは、それだけで新しい生き方が始まることを意味していない。不信の世界から出口を探すという言葉が続くため、単に眠りから起きるだけでなく、同じ状態を生き直してしまう循環から抜けたい気持ちがあるのだろう。空を見ること、心の中で飛ぶことは、その循環の外を思い描く動きになる。ただし出口の場所や、誰が世界を不信にしたのかは語られず、特定の敵や出来事を補って読む必要はない。
逃げる相手が「思考の壁」であり、離れたいものが重力だという組み合わせも特徴だ。壁は外の障害だけではなく、自分の考え方が行ける場所を狭める状態として受け取れる。一方、重力は気持ちだけでは簡単に無視できない力なので、自由への願いには抵抗の実感が残る。「自分の物語の主人」だという呼びかけは、何でも自在に変えられるという保証ではなく、自分の次の一歩を他者へ明け渡さないための励ましだろう。痛みは消えないという言葉が添えられることで、痛みのない状態まで待たずに進もうとする姿勢が保たれている。
途中には戻ることや、もう一度エネルギーを蓄えることも置かれる。飛び去る一方向の動きだけではなく、静かな場所へ戻って自分を取り戻す時間も、出口を探す過程に含まれる。新しい時代は最初にはこれから始まるものだったが、後半ではすでに始まったと告げられる。その後にも同じ問いと消えない痛みが続くので、新時代は問題が一掃された世界ではない。最後に残るのは、爪が壁を引っかく具体的な動作だ。壮大な空や距離を越える願いの先で、体はまだ壁に接している。それでも何もせず閉じ込められるのではなく、小さな接触で境界に働きかける。その不完全な動きが、言葉だけの解放とは異なる手触りを結末に残す。
